KYU redefines dinner with a globally inspired, wood-fired experience.  Influenced by their travels our chefs curate a menu that blends expertly grilled meats, smoke-roasted short ribs, fresh fish, and bold dishes like hamachi crudo, tuna crispy rice, and KYU Fried Chicken. Every dish is complemented by handcrafted cocktails and desserts, including our signature cinnamon roll, ensuring a truly memorable experience. 

With award-winning locations in Miami, New York, Las Vegas, and Mexico City, KYU’s one-of-a-kind concept is set to make its highly anticipated debut in Los Angeles in 2026. 



Our Story

Founded in 2016 in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood district, KYU quickly became a standout on the culinary scene, just one year after opening. It earned the title of TIME magazine’s “Best Restaurant in Florida” and was named a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation’s “Best New Restaurant.” Under the guidance of Chef Raheem Seaely, KYU’s wood-fired, globally-inspired menu has earned international acclaim. 

Known for its bold, inventive flavors and upscale lively atmosphere, KYU has become a must-visit dining destination.
